The March of Dimes is a charity whose mission is to improve the health of infants everywhere by raising funds for research to help prevent birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality. Their annual March for Babies, which began in 1970, has raised over $1.8 billion in support of infant research to help save babies all across the world. You can get a group of family members, friends, coworkers, or just walk by yourself. The march takes place in over 1,100 communities across the country, with over 1 million people walking each year, even celebrities!
